Fiddle with Merv's STUFF!
So, you want my STUFF do you? Well, you got it! I haven't got the foggiest whether this page is going to work or not, as it's veeeery experimental (for more info see my waffle page), but if it does work, well that'll be splendiferous!
Ok, well I'm gonna stick anything on here that I feel like, be it games, piccies, wavs, or indeed just STUFF of numerous varieties, so I guess you'll need the downloading instructions.... Um, I can't be bothered to write it now, as I'm hungry and I'm going for a pizza the minute I stop typing, so I think I shall tell you that the downloading info is at the bottom. Yup yup, have a scroll down the page, there it'll be. Uh huh.
And to use up a gif I have lying around, you've got a lovely little fist instead of the arrow. Lovely.
Games!
Below is some of my fave shareware games by software! Not only does it have a fab name, but the game is groooovy too, with heaps of funky cheesy sound samples! Oh, and there's Pizza worm too, which isn't by cheesy software, but it should be. Get yer hands on:
Cheesy Invaders(626kb)
Cheesy Invaders, made by cheesy software is a bleedin' masterpeice! It's basically a standard space invaders thingy, but you can shoot peices of rotating cheese, and it has an abundance of stupid sound samples to introduce the levels, ranging from "cones, cubes, spheres and more" to "there's lots of stuff on this level". It may sound naff, but no nooooo, it's not. Get it!
Mortal Pong(345kb)
The other game by Cheesy software is another remake of THE classic, Pong. Um, that's about it really, except it has the same level of fab sound samples, and you play with more than 1 ball, up to 99 at a time! I'm not selling this very well am I? Honest, it's fun, you might as well nab it. Go ooooon!
Pizza worm(217kb)
Ok, most people have played 'Worm' to death, but this worm is much more fun to control, and it's just soooo cute with his little voice, everytime he eats a pizza.... he also burps, and um, does other wormy stuff. It's really addictive, honest! Look, I know I haven't made these games sound very good, but I wouldn't have bothered sticking them on my page if I didn't think they deserved it. They're all good. Seriously.
There will be more, I'll stick the rest on later, you lucky lucky people!
Wavs!
Hurrah! Aren't wav files wonderful? You can stick 'em on your PC and play them to death until everyone around you is sick of them! Below are a few which I've made when I was bored or drunk, as well as a few which are my faves from other sites, which if you like wavs, you'll probably already have. But do you think I care? Noooooooo.
Madcow
The sound of a stereotypical mad cow, mooing slightly madly
Mickysex
Micky mouse getting a bit of lovin' from Minnie!
I have sooooo many wavs for ya, just loooads of em, but stupid fortunecity won't let me upload them, as yet again, they're having problems. So it's going sloooowly. I have loads of other wavs, all Trapdoor ones, they're at my trapdoor page, and they're all fab! And they breach copyright laws. Whoops!
Piccies!
Right, i've started to make thumnails and get piccies for this bit, in fact i've been doing it for ages, but i stored them on my home computer desktop, and win95 fouled up, so I had to re-install so it destroyed them all. Argh! They'll be here, oh yes, they'll be here......
The piccies: Eaaaaaasy like. Just click on the piccie to be taken to the full size version...place the mouse pointer over the picture and click on yer right mouse button, and choose "save picture as....". Simple. Sorry if you're clever and everything and that bit's obvious, but I show some really, um, not-used-to-the-net-people my page, so I have to be thorough and all. As for the games and wavs, well I'll be honest with you..... I haven't done this before, and it might mess up. I asked for help with this on my waffle page, and got two different answers. One was fiddly and difficult, the other was to do it the way I've done it here.... the link will take you to either the zipped file of the game (e.g. pworm.zip), or to a .wav file, and theoretically, when the browser is links to a file it doesn't understand, it will give you the option to download it. I hope. If it doesnt, then click the right mouse button on the link to the game, and choose 'save target as' / 'save this link as', then choose to save it to yer floppy. That should work. I think. If you don't have a copy of winzip, weeeeeeeell then you need to go to a winzip site on the net, and download that too. That's simple, dead quick and dead easy to use. So, this whole stuff page should be very easy to use and successful. Hehehehe.....right. If anyone has any questions, gizzus a mail.
The lovely lovely link that takes you back to the lovely lovely index page
Have you wondered why I keep sending these links back to the index page when all the options are on the menu page? Well I'll tell you. It's 'cos I want peeps to do my questionnaire and to sign my guestbook, and I figure if they see the guestbook and questionaire piccies enough times, they'll get it ingrained into their head they must sign it! It's not a bad design flaw. I meant to do it. Yup yup. At least, I used to do it all the time, but i've changed them now. This os the only like back to the index page. Boo hoo!
